Finally, Hellcup 10 has come to an end. And in truth, it was a nervous experience: different maps, strategies, weapons, headshots, and unbelievable outcomes during the rounds. Well, you know it by yourself. Today, we want to discuss how it started with the Group Stage, continuous fights among solid teams, and finishing the fantastic last round.
You’ll find out all about it just in the next few minutes.

In article you will find:
All Info About HellCup
As you know, HellCup 10 is an online European CS2 tournament sponsored by Hellcase and organized by GAM3PS_X. That tournament has a prize fund of $45.000 and a particular case with proceeds that will go towards the prize pool. And, for sure, you also have the opportunity to open that case and get great items. Every opening of the case increases the prize pool. Sounds cool.
But the most interesting part of that tournament is the teams and the open qualifiers. Any ordinary team has a chance to participate in that event, showing their skills and capabilities.
Group Stage
As you can see, the tournament’s open qualification format gives any non-professional team a chance. This time wasn’t the exception to the rule, and we could see different new strategies and unorthodox approaches during every game. The Group Stage shows us sixteen squads battled for the chance to enter the next stage. But who were these lucky players?
1) Group A
- MOUZ NXT 2:0
- Team Sampi 2:1
- CYBERSHOKE Esports 1:2
- Monte Gen 0:2
2)Group B
- Endpoint 2:0
- Permitta Esports 2:1
- K27 1:2
- GUN5 Esports 0:2
3)Group C
- 9Pandas 2:0
- 9INE 2:1
- Into The Breach 1:2
- Illuminar Gaming 0:2
4) Group D
- 1win 2:0
- TALON 2:1
- TSM 1:2
- Young Ninjas 0:2
Hellcup 10Playoffs
As always, the Group Stage proved once again that this place is only for the strongest and most skilled teams. It’s the challenge where you can give the unexpected show. In other words, playing in the playoffs was challenging.
Out of the 16 teams from the Group Stage, only the eight strongest advanced to the Playoffs:
- MOUZ NXT
- Team Sampi
- Endpoint
- Permitta Esports
- 9Pandas
- 9INE
- 1win
- TALON
Only these teams had enough energy and flame on the way to victory. And, of course, they were ready to fight among invited squads with more professional skills.
Here is the list of invaded teams:
- Sashi Esport
- ex-Pera Esports
- AMKAL ESPORTS
- Passion UA
- B8
- Rebels Gaming
- Zero Tenacity
- Nemiga Gaming
As you can notice, among the invited teams are professional solid teams, such as Sashi Esport and B8, which have already made a name for themselves. They know the smell of the gun for sure.
Round 1
Eight invited teams and eight teams that emerged from the Group Stage participated in Round 1 of the playoffs. Every team was ready to show its skills and, for sure, its determination to prove its preference. But only half of them could do their best on the road to winning. Still, you should know that Round 1 was played in a Bo3 system.
Here are the results of the Round 1 matches:
- Sashi Esport vs 1win (2:1)
- ex-Pera Esports vs Permitta Esports (2:1)
- Amkal Esports vs MOUX NXT (0:2)
- Passion UA vs Endpoint (1:2)
- B8 vs 9INE (2:0)
- Rebels Gaming vs Talon (0:2)
- Zero Tenacity vs 9Pandas (1:2)
- Nemiga Gaming vs Team Sampi (2:1)
Hellcup 10Quarterfinals
Eight teams showed good results during the previous stage. But now it’s quite another level with much fewer chances to win. Who will be the lucky one?
Sashi Esport vs ex-Pera Esports
As you know, Sashi Esport is already recognizable. And it was seen during the game: that squad might be a problem for the opponent’s team. However, that was the case. The first and second rounds on Nuke and Mirage were exciting games. Every team was doing everything to win. But on Anubis, there is no chance for ex-Pera Esports. Overall, Sashi Esport won with a score of 2:1.
MOUX NXT vs Endpoint
Every fight was a real challenge. Any team wanted to keep going and tried different strategies. Still, Endpoint’s fortune was on its side. That team took two wins in a row, thus securing a place in the semifinals.
B8 vs TALON
What do you imagine when we talk about tournaments in CS2? Of course, there are insane battles, massive tactics, all sorts of tricks, and some unbelievable moments. But B8 thinks they are just walking in the park on a warm summer day. How else can they explain that by crushing TALON twice on Mirage and Anubis? But fans of that squad didn’t expect the lesser results.
9Pandas vs Nemiga Gaming
Everyone familiar with these teams expected something crazy. And it was stressed enough during the first round on Inferno. Not every team wanted to give opponents the chance to win. Still, 9Pandas definitely lost all hope. Nemiga Gaming won with a score of 2:0.
Hellcup 10Semifinals
The semifinals are the more severe stage. Moreover, the participants are already guaranteed a cash prize. But it’s still not even the Grand Final to begin the chilling. There are so many emotions, but was it as good as we expected? Let’s check it out.
Sashi Esport vs Endpoint
That match was a real challenge for every team. Both squads are known as strong opponents for everyone. But the result was unexpected even for us.
The first map, Mirage, started well for Sashi Esport. It looked like we already had a winner, at least on that map. But, as we soon noticed, Endpoint is just learning the strategies of its enemies. After the three losses, the British team started to dominate. Of course, there was a little attempt to return by Sashi Esport. However, everything ended with a score of 13:9 in favor of Endpoint.
It seems like the fortune remembered Sashi Esport on Vertigo. At that time, the Danish team already knew what they should do, but the results were unexpected. 13:3 in favor of Sashi Esport.
And the last crucial map was Anubis. Every viewer was confident Sashi Esport would be one of the winners in the Semifinals. They started to dominate from the first seconds of the game. But the problem was that Endpoint began to be on the Terrorist side. So the Danish team soon stopped even to push the opponents. The British squad accepted it like a sign, and, for sure, they were unstoppable. But will they be so aggressive in the Grand Final?
B8 vs Nemiga Gaming
Both are strong teams with professional tactics and high-skill strategies. Did we imagine the end of that meeting? However, B8 and Nemiga Gaming gave us a lot of shows with headshots, smokes, and even clutches.
The first game on Mirage started as a vacation on the beach with a cocktail for B8. Whatever Nemiga Gaming tried to do, it didn’t work at all. The advantage in quantity by the Belorussian team quickly became a disadvantage for them. Ukrainian gamers had a faster reaction time, and their shots were much more accurate. Nemiga Gaming tried to show their trump cards at the sleeve a few times. But it was the time of B8’s domination.
Unfortunately for B8’s fans, the game on Ancient wasn’t good enough. Well, the fortune just turned its back to them. At that time, Nemiga Gaming had the energy to show its best skills. In truth, the Ukrainian team even tried to get a comeback. But that round was by Belorussian players.
The last map, Anubis, was crucial for both squads. It was a real war, not for life and death. The score changed to the teams. Moreover, in the ending rounds, it was side by side, and there was no chance to guess the winner. Still, Nemiga Gaming didn’t want to give up and crushed B8, scoring 13:10.
Hellcup 10Grand Final
The two strongest squads met in the Grand Final of Hellcup 10. A fair duel with only one winner. Who will be the champion at that time? The answer is much closer than you think. And we don’t see the reason for prolonging the wait.
Here’s the list of map selections and bans:
- Endpoint removed Nuke
- Nemiga Gaming removed Mirage
- Endpoint picked Inferno
- Nemiga Gaming picked Ancient
- Endpoint removed Vertigo
- Nemiga Gaming removed Anubis
- Dust2 was left over
Inferno
The first map started with Nemiga Gaming’s aggressive domination. It seemed easy for them on the side of the Terrorists to defeat the opponent’s team. Endpoint should have been ready for someone with that level of gaming. Moreover, they also needed to show their own skills.
But it was really hard for Endpoint to win because no strategy worked well enough: double kills, unexpected pushes, and speed-of-reaction reactions. Nemiga Gaming stopped dominating only after eight wins. Or maybe it was just a tactical deception? The British squad used it for a comeback and even equalized the score 8:8.
The interesting fact is that Endpoint picked Inferno. Can you imagine that? However, it was a minor deal for Nemiga Gaming to finish that map in the winner’s position. So they just continued to dominate the game and moved on to the second map with a victory.
Ancient
The first rounds on Ancient were quite different. Viewers were expected to see a real comeback of Endpoint on the enemy’s map. And it looked close to it. The British squad changed their strategy and, without any problems, won three rounds. In truth, it was the only thing they could do here.
Nobody and nothing could stop Nemiga Gaming on their way to victory. There were new, more tactical decisions, flashes, speed running the game, and typical pushes. In a word, it was such a crushing defeat to Endpoint.
Congratulations to Nemiga Gaming!
